Spring is right around the corner... (Took me three days to draw that.. ARGGG!)
-common loon

Exciting news!
I was in the middle school library Tuesday when a life science teacher pointed out a hawk in the courtyard. I was able to identify it as a Swainson's Hawk! The picture below was NOT taken by me, but it looks almost exactly like the hawk in the courtyard I saw. As always, happy birding from Bird Blogger MT! (The moon picture WERE taken by me, though.)

FYI, I all the pictures that I post I take myself.
I encourage you to share your knowledge about the outdoors and the things that live in it, and to make your own blog or get a camera and see if you can take some great photos.
Hey birders! Just a bit more info if you want it: If you have or even haven't gone to www.birds.cornell.edu , I just want you to know that they have a very interesting program called Bird Cams, and you can find it by typing it in the search bar. It features cameras that have been put all over the country, to observe different types of bird nests. Such include a Great Blue Heron, an Osprey, and a Red-Tailed Hawk nest, just to name a few.
And for birders, hunters, or anything else that involves binoculars, I suggest Nikon's Monarch series. I don't own any, but I've used them before and they're great.
Spring will be here before you know it so please visit my blog again sometime.
Have a Happy New Year from Bird Blogger MT!!!
